Rencontres de Bamako 2015

At the biennale photography show Rencontres de Bamako 2015, 'Longing for the Future' was presented in an exhibition at the CFP's premises in Bamako, accompanied by a theatre play.

More precisely, the CFP students had the opportunity to display the pictures they have produced in the frame of the project and the Théâtr'Evasion from Ouagadougou was invited for a guest performance of 'A la croisée de nos rêves', also developed in the context of 'Longing for the Future'.

Encounters and Performances

Various creative encounters, events and performances developed around 'Longing for the Future': Photo exhibitions in Zurich, Basel and Bamako, theatre performances in Ouagadougou and Bamako, scenic installations in Basel, writing workshops in Bamako... By speaking a playful, innovative language, these encounters and performances re-vivify research results and allow the public to get bodily and sensory immersed in culturally different lifeworlds.
